Superintendent of Police D Mary Prashanthi directed the police officials to expedite the investigation of cases and create awareness among people on cybercrimes.
The SP on Tuesday conducted a surprise inspection to T Narasapuram police station on Tuesday. She inspected the police station premises and the surrounding area. She planted a sapling on the police station promises on the occasion. She appreciated SI Satish for keeping the police station premises clean.
The SP inspected the reception counter, the case properties, the investigations done in the reported grave and non-grave cases. She asked the SI about the pending cases and instructions were given to SI Satish to complete the investigation in those pending cases.
The SP inquired with the police officials about the priority issues. She instructed the officials to take proactive action against those who engage in antisocial activities. In order to maintain law and order, the officials were directed to conduct weekly counseling and transformation programs for the anti-social elements and to keep a vigil on their lifestyles.
The SP also interacted with the police personnel working at the police station and knew their problems. The SP told the media that except land disputes there were no major crimes in the police station limits.
