The sensitisation and orientation training programme for faculty and senior doctors of Ayush Educational Institutes, Vijayawada Siddhartha Medical College and Guntur Medical College and 26 districts asserted the need to bring awareness among the masses regarding Ayush treatment. The programme was held at Vijayawada on Sunday. Dr. SP Rajendra Kumar said that there are many medical colleges and hospitals in the state related to the government, some of which are Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Allopathy which provide treatment and relief according to the condition of the patient in the respective medical methods. He asked the doctors to offer good and best treatment to patients who are suffering from chronic problems and further to update their knowledge regarding diseases and treatments.
Dr Rajendra Kumar explained that the dispensary buildings of Gudivada, Kadapa, Rajahmundry, and Vijayawada are being developed in the state belonging to the AYUSH department to offer a wide range of treatment services. He announced that innovative Panchakarma facilities are also being set up in the AYUSH hospitals offering treatment for chronic diseases like migraine, sinusitis, paralysis and other diseases.
