Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has instructed the ministers not to harm the good name and reputation of the government and TDP. The CM asked the ministers to be careful and guide the MLAs and leaders of their respective districts.
Sources say after the Cabinet meeting at the secretariat on Wednesday, the CM discussed internal political issues with the ministers on the reverse tendering system.
According to sources, the CM said that he would give a progress report to the ministers on their performance of 100 days based on their activities. The report of the Jana Sena ministers will be handed over to Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
He expressed anger over the controversial behaviour of some ministers and MLAs. He said that the government is getting a bad name because of the mistakes made by some people. Regarding interference of family members of some ministers and legislators, Chandrababu stated that Ministers and MLAs are responsible for ensuring that the behaviour of family members is not excessive.
Chandrababu commented that due to the mistakes made by one or two, all the good things done by the government are lost and the leaders are being highlighted. Important information about their government is being leaked. He was amazed that the information in the White Papers, details of vote-on-account and other important decisions were leaked. The issue of YSRC’s presence in government departments was widely discussed in the Cabinet meeting and instructed the minister to look into it.
Minister Payyavula Keshav said that the Centre has given a lot of funds to AP within 100 days, and the benefit is far better compared to Jagan’s visits in five years. The release of funds to Polavaram and the contribution of funds to Amaravati are very useful things for AP. He claimed that Jagan goes to Delhi for cases and Chandrababu makes trips to Delhi for funds. Payyavula Keshav commented that people could make out the difference between Jagan’s visits to Delhi and Chandrababu’s visits to Delhi.
