Animal Husbandry Minister Sidiri Appalaraju strongly criticised Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan, stating that the position of Chief Minister should be earned through the votes of the people and cannot be obtained through mere pleading. The Minister demanded that Pawan Kalyan disclose the constituency from which he intends to contest in the next election.

Minister Appala Raju urged Pawan Kalyan to clarify the number of constituencies across Andhra Pradesh where JSP candidates will be fielded in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Addressing the media on Saturday, Minister Appala Raju stressed the importance of a party symbol, stating that losing it means losing one’s identity. He advised Pawan Kalyan to first focus on securing the JSP party symbol.

The Minister further stated that Pawan Kalyan’s ambition of becoming the Chief Minister while fielding a meager 30 candidates in the forthcoming elections is merely wishful thinking.

He asserted that winning the public’s votes in elections is the path to becoming the Chief Minister, rather than simply asking for their support in public gatherings.Responding to Pawan Kalyan’s statement that no one can prevent him from entering the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly, Minister Appala Raju reminded him that one must first win as a legislator and questioned his choice of constituency for contesting as an MLA.

The Minister commented that Pawan Kalyan’s state-wide tour, seeking people’s assistance for victory, would be deemed an inefficient yatra rather than a successful Varahi Vijaya Yatra.

Appala Raju highlighted the 2019 elections, where the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) faced competition from all opposition parties and emerged victorious. He clarified that in the upcoming 2024 elections, the YSRCP will contest in all constituencies independently.

Minister Appalraju urged Pawan Kalyan to declare the number of constituencies where the JSP intends to field their candidates in the upcoming elections.
