Bhadradri getting set for Sri Rama Navami celebrations

Shirur, District Collector, Bhadradri\Kothagudem district, announced that as part of the Sri Rama Navami, Bhadrachalam temple will organise Brahmotsavams from April 9 to 23.  During this period, the temple will organise Sri Swami Vari Thirukalyana on April 17 and Sri Swami Vari Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam on April 18. Devotees who want to watch these festivals should pay Rs 7,500- for marriage ceremony (both donors), Rs 2,500, Rs 2,000, Rs 1,000, Rs 300, Rs 150 and for coronation Rs 1,500, Rs 500 and Rs100. The details of the various facilities provided by the temple for the convenience of the devotees are canopies that were done with bamboo mats/cloth pendants, in the places around the temple without knowing the intensity of the sun  about 4,00,000 sq. free shelters are being set up for accommodation at Godavari Ghat and Vista Complex.
All the devotees in the Kalyana Mandapam have LEDs in the sectors to watch Kalyanam and coronation. Screens and coolers to reduce the intensity of the sun, fans and CC TVs in the vicinity of the Kalyan Mandapam would be set up for safety. Cameras are being installed. Devotees are given free water and buttermilk packets. Arrangements have been made to provide Annaprashan to the visiting devotees at the Devasthan Nityannadana Satram. In order to provide Sri Swami’s talambralu to each and every one of the devotees, 60 counters have been set up at various places in Bhadrachalam town and steps are being taken to provide about 250 quintals of talambralu free of charge.
About 19 counters have been set up and 2,50,000 laddus are being prepared to sell Sri Swami’s laddu prasadam.
