CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka criticised the state Budget for disappointing the hopes of the people. Bhatti said in the Telangana Assembly that there it was a big juggllary of numbers in the Budget.
He said that they have shown an increase of tax revenue as Rs 40,000 crore. He questioned how it is possible without increasing the taxes. The Centre’s grants are not more than Rs 10,000 crore. But Rs 40,000 crore has been shown. He said that Rs 70,000 crore is not meeting the expectations in the Budget.
While participating in the discussion on the Budget on Wednesday in the Assembly, Bhatti asked according to which calculation the government would say that the per capita income has increased. The per capita income of some people in the state has increased, he alleged, saying that the poor people are waiting with eyes wide open for houses. He alleged that the Adani system had cheated the country’s economy. ArogyaSri card is not working anywhere in the state, he said, asking the government to stop the bills in private hospitals.
Bhatti alleged that Sri Chaitanya and Narayana organisations were running against the rules. He criticised that apart from charging fees in lakhs of rupees, there are no proper facilities like playgrounds in Sri Chaitanya and Narayana Colleges.
He questioned why the government, which is boasting about Kaleshwaram, is not allowing the opposition members to see the project. He protested why they are arresting those who go to see Kaleshwaram. However, the BRS leaders were boasting that the people are coming from all over the country to see the project, he pointed out.
