TPCC Vice President Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay is accusing the Congress of supporting the AIMIM and making Hyderabad a hub of terrorists.
“Mr Sanjay, I would like to remind you that AIMIM was a party confined to Hyderabad during Congress rule and now it has grown into a national party with the ‘blessings’ of the BJP and the BRS. It is being used to split Muslim votes against the BJP,” Kiran Kumar Reddy said on Thursday in a statement.
He said the BJP made the AIMIM its B team, made it a national party and supported its anti-India activities. He said the BJP always raises terrorism issues or Muslim or Pakistan-related issues during elections. The BJP uses Muslim politics on the one side and portrays the AIMIM and Muslims as anti-India to polarise Hindu votes, he added.
Kiran said that Sanjay is clueless and is talking nonsense to get into the good books of his bosses in New Delhi. He said that Sanjay himself is fighting for survival as the TS BJP president.
He said the BRS allowed only AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi into the new Secretariat as his party is the main opposition now with the blessings of KCR who ended the INC’s main opposition status by engineering defections.
He asked Sanjay if the BJP is serious about countering the AIMIM why is the Centre not taking any action. Why is the Centre not taking action against persons sheltering PFI or against Saleem, an employee of Owaisi Medical College, who was arrested.
Kiran appealed to Sanjay to take action against them immediately as the BRS will not do anything against the AIMIM and terrorists.
