BJP workers staged a protest against MP Arvind Dharmapuri at the party office for unilaterally changing 13 mandal party presidents.

BJP leaders and activists expressed their anger against Nizamabad MP Aravind. When the state president Kisan Reddy was in the state office, there was a lot of commotion. They raised slogans against MP Aravind on the announcement of the BJP mandal president saying that he had done injustice to the posts.

Protestors alleged that Arvind did it by forcing the district party president B Laxmi Narasaiah to do his bidding.

On the July 24, the president of the BJP district branch of Basvapuram announced the names of the presidents of mandals in Bodhan, Armor and Balkonda constituencies. The names of presidents of Mupkal, Mendora, Bhemgal town in Balkonda constituency, Armortown, Makluru, Donkeswar and Aluru mandals in Armor constituency have been revealed.

Similarly, the names of the BJP president were announced for Navipet, Renjal, Edapalli, Bodhan Rural and Salur mandals in Bodhan constituency. Alleging that the election of mandal presidents was done unilaterally and injustice was done to the real workers, BJP leaders and activists came to the Hyderabad office and protested. BJP secretary Prakash Reddy was attacked.

However, Kishan Reddy reportedly made it clear that protests like the one they held will not be tolerated and that any problem or issue party leaders or workers have, can be communicated to the party leadership.

MP Arvind stated that he was not involved in the finalisation of the names of the presidents of the BJP mandals in Nizamabad district and the change of presidents. He revealed that the appointments of mandal presidents were made based on the decision of the district president and that the district president takes organisational decisions.
