Telangana BJP president and Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy stated that their party created history by defeating outgoing and incoming chief ministerial candidates in recent Assembly elections. He said that one and only BJP’s voting percentage has increased 100 per cent in Telangana.
Speaking to the media at Delhi on Monday, Kishan Reddy condemned the campaign going on in social media stating that he said something wrong about Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. “I did not say anything like that. What if someone writes in that manner? We lodged a complaint with the police in this regard,” he said.
Kishan Reddy said that the Congress appointed AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi as Protem Speaker with the selfish attitude against the rules and regulations keeping the seniority aside. The Congress attitude is against the rules of the Legislative Assembly and hence the BJP boycotted the MLAs oath-taking programme in the Assembly. Telangana BJP president made it clear that the BJP MLAs will take oath after regular Speaker takes over.
Kishan Reddy alleged that Rs 351 crore came to light in the raids of the Income Tax Department at AICC leader Rahul Gandhi’s close associate and Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu’s residence and offices. Kishan Reddy alleged that Dheeraj Sahu is the leader, who extended financial help to Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Kishan Reddy questioned Rahul Gandhi, who makes allegations that the IT, ED and CBI raids are going on only on Congress party leaders, to tell why Rahul Gandhi is not responding on the money found in IT raids on Dheeraj Sahu’s residence.
Kishan Reddy said that the people defeated the Congress in Chhattisgarh due to increased corruption. He said that the Congress government in Karnataka collected money from builders and spent the money in Telangana elections.
Kishan Reddy said that he is welcoming the Supreme Court’s decision upholding the central government’s decision to abrogate Article 370.
