BJP demands white paper on power line for private firm

BJP State chief spokesperson Lanka Dinakar has alleged that unjust favour is being done to Indosol Solar Private Limited by giving forest and revenue lands worth crores of rupees for the incorporation of power projects in the state illegitimately without adopting the proper procedure.
Lanka Dinakar demanded the Jagan Mohn Reddy government release a ‘white paper’ on the construction of power line and substation with funds of the State government, alleging that the State government has diverted public funds to private companies with corrupt practices.
The BJP leader slammed that the State government is providing the power line and substation construction required for the solar panel plant to be set up at Nellore by Indosol Solar Private Limited as a free gift to the company from the state government funds.
The state government has given necessary orders for the construction of a power line and substation with the funds of Trans Co., which costs about Rs 80 to 90 crores for the benefit of Indosol Solar Private Limited. As per the information, this amount is provided from the AP Trans Co for free to Indosol Solar Private Limited, Lanka Dinakar flayed.
Public perception is that Indosol Solar and Shirdi Sai Electricals promoters are like the benamis of AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and these two companies are enjoying undue benefits from the public exchequer of the state, he stated.
