In response to the Michaung cyclone, teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were deployed in seacoast villages to facilitate relief operations. S. Suresh Kumar, Commissioner of the School Education Department, directed all educational institutions—both government and private—to declare a holiday on Monday, extending the closure to Tuesday based on his directive to education department authorities.

They oversaw relief measures and provided guidance on evacuating low-lying areas, as well as ensuring the supply of food, drinking water, and other essential amenities. With the collaborative efforts of the revenue and police departments, the SDRF and NDRF teams successfully evacuated residents from seacoast villages to rehabilitation centers, including schools and various government and private buildings.
The district administration coordinated the use of 2,408 anchored boats for relief operations across the district. These boats are distributed as follows: 313 boats in Kruthivennu Mandal, 1,023 boats in Nagayalanka, 206 boats in Koduru, and 866 boats in Machilipatnam mandal.
Joint Collector Dr. Aparajith Singh, in collaboration with authorities from the agriculture, civil supplies, and marketing departments, is overseeing efforts to store paddy gains in godowns. Paddy lifting movements are being monitored in Ghantasala, Movva, and Pamidimukkala Mandals, with the involvement of Pamarru MLA Kaile Anil Kumar.
According to Krishna district collector P. Raja Babu, 57 rehabilitation centers have been set up in all seven seacoast mandals in the district. Currently, 1,899 individuals have been relocated from low-lying areas to these centers, where they are provided with breakfast, milk, food, and other necessary facilities. Depending on the severity of the cyclone, an additional 7,000 people are expected to be relocated from villages to rehabilitation centers.
Sanitation maintenance is a priority at all rehabilitation centers, with the provision of torch lights, raincoats, and generators. Health camps operate 24/7, with departmental officials regularly supervising relief measures.
Following state government directives, financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 per individual and Rs. 2,000 per family will be provided. The government is taking all necessary measures to minimize the significant loss of paddy. Currently, 45,000 tons of paddy grain have been transported to rice mills, and 20,000 tons are stored in godowns.
