Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the people of Telangana would celebrate two more Diwalies.
He said that the people of Telangana have already celebrated their first Diwali and they are going to celebrate their second Diwali on December 3 when the BJP comes to power in Telangana.
He said that the people of Telangana would celebrate their third Diwali in January after the inauguration of Rama Mandir in Ayodhya.
Addressing the Jangaon public meeting on Monday, Amit said that the BJP will allow the people of Telangana to visit the Ayodhya Rama Mandir freely if they ensure the victory of the BJP in the state.
He said that BJP is the only people’s party while the Congress, the BRS and the AIMIM are family-controlled parties. He said that while the BRS was in power in the state its steering was under the control of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.
“All these are 2G, 3G and 4G parties. The BRS is a two-generation party with KCR and KTR, the AIMIM is a three-generation party with grandfather, father and son and the Congress is a four-generation party of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. These parties will care only about their families but not the common man,” said Amit while addressing the Sakala Janula Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha meetings held at Korutla and Jangaon on Tuesday.
“Telangana was liberated from the clutches of Nizam by Sardar Vallabhai Patel. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is not celebrating Liberation Day to appease the AIMIM. We will organise Liberation Day celebrations on September 17 every year officially in addition to constructing the Martyrs Memorial at Bairanpally,” said Amit and added that the BJP is committed to the development of Telangana, BC categorisation and a BC will be made the Chief Minister of Telangana.
Declaring that the BRS is running the most corrupt government in the country, the Home Minister said that there was massive corruption while executing the Kaleshwaram project, Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya.
He promised to order an inquiry by a retired Supreme Court Judge on corruption during BRS rule and ensure that those who were involved in corruption were punished.
“The name and fame of India has touched new heights under Prime Minister Modi. We have constructed a new Parliament House. The world is looking at India for guidance and leadership,” said Amit while addressing the meetings. The Union Home Minister also participated in a roadshow in Uppal on Monday evening.
