The BJP is not against providing reservations for BCs, Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy said.
He said that they will convince the Centre if the state government completes the caste survey and BC unions accept it.
Participating in the MLC election campaign at Warangal on Sunday, Kishan said, “There is no need for a caste survey to find Rahul Gandhi’s caste. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy should reveal Rahul’s caste. I don’t know why the Congress, which is constantly speaking about the rights of BCs, is reluctant to reveal their leader’s caste. Not even a single organisation of BCs has supported the government’s caste survey till now.”
He said that intellectuals, teachers and graduates are looking at the BJP and added that he is confident that the BJP will win the two teachers’ MLCs and one graduate MLC elections.
Pointing out that people voted the Congress to power due to their opposition to the BRS, Kishan slammed the Congress government saying that they had failed to implement even a single assurance.
Kishan said the Congress government is thinking of selling government-owned land to raise funds. The Congress Government is not even in a position to paint the walls of schools, he said.
He said the BJP will intensify its fight in the coming days for the sake of the people as the Congress and BRS governments have failed to protect public interests.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is going to New Delhi every week to register his attendance with the Congress high command, he said.
