BJP rise rattles BRS

PNS|Hyderabad

Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar’s list of BRS candidates indicates that the BRS will not return to power and that KCR is totally rattled by the rise of the BJP.

He said that fact that KCR himself is contesting from two seats shows his insecurity as the BJP’s base is surging with support from all sections like STs and Scheduled Castes.

Reacting to the list released by KCR on Monday, Kishan said that the Bangaru Kutumbam staged a drama at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi demanding 33% reservation for women in Parliament. As per their maths 33% reservation is the six seats (3+3=6) being given to women by the BRS this time, he said.

“KCR said openly at a press conference that the AIMIM and BRS will jointly win 29 seats in the Hyderabad region. In his desperation to help AIMIM KCR is trying to split the anti-AIMIM vote by fielding candidates as per the AIMIM’s directions,” he said.

He said that by fielding most sitting MLAs KCR has admitted that his only option is to rely on the money power of his MLAs who have amassed massive amounts of money through land grabbing and other illegal acts in the last five years.
