BJP slams Cong govt for not dedicating minister for education

Must read

Telangana BJP official spokesperson Rani Rudrama has stressed that the Telangana State needs an Education Minister. Though ‘Badi Bata’ started, there is no Education Minister. She said that there is a “Minister for Liquor” but there is no Minister for Education.
While speaking to the media on Friday, Rani Rudrama said that there were names of former Chief Minister and former Education Minister in the books.
She alleged that the Education Department has been orphaned. This situation might not have arisen if there is a Minister for Education. The government appointed an Excise Minister immediately after coming to power, but the same government did not appoint a Minister for the Education. She said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy gave ‘Donkey’s egg’ to the Education Department.
Every district needs one DEO; however 26 districts did not have DEOs. No one is there on duty though 62 Deputy EOs are there. Only 17 MEOs are there instead of 617 MEOs for the 617 mandals. There are no MEOs for 598 mandals, she said.
Rani Rudrama said that the students are facing troubles due to lack of workers in schools. The government gave notification for 11,000 teacher posts though 22,000 teacher posts are vacant. Why should the people face troubles if there are differences among the Congress leaders?
Whether there is no eligible leader to look after the Education Ministry? Why did CM Revanth Reddy keep the Education Department with him if he has no time to look after? She demanded that the CM appoint the Education Minister immediately.

She asked the government to use Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan funds given by the Central government fully and provide quality education to students.
