Blood donation camp organised as part CM’s birthday programmes

Blood donation camp was organized here on Thursday as part of the programmes organized to celebrate the birthday of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in which Minister for Health Vidadala Rajini and MLAs participated.
Blood donation camp was organized in the GGH and the Health Minister inaugurated an Ambulance donated by the HCL under the CSR funds. Prayers by heads of all religions were also held.
Speaking on the occasion, Health Minister Vidadala Rajini said that the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy headed government is implementing a number of welfare schemes including YSR Cheyuta, YSR Asara, distribution of house sites and Amma Vadi for the lift of the poor.
The government is aimed at benefiting each household with a welfare scheme, Vidadala Rajini stated.
She said that village family doctors and Jagananna Arogya Suraksha programmes are being implemented to provide medical services to the people. She said that Rs 17,000 crore has been spent on development of village clinics to teaching hospitals.
The GGH here is being developed at a cost of Rs 500 crore, she informed, adding that the government aimed at providing modern medical services to the people. A block in the GGH is being constructed with the coordination of CIA for which Rs 65 lakh funds under the CSR were released.
The Health Minister said that she had convinced HCL to donate two ambulnes to Guntur district each costing Rs.30 lakh under the CSR, adding that Rs 7.5 crore was sanctioned for the construction of a service block in the GGH.
MLAs Maddali Giridhar, Mohammad Mustafa,  Director of Health Padma, GGH Superintendent Kiran Kumar, GDCC bank chairman Ratamshetti Sitaramanjaneyulu and DMHO Dr.Shrevan Babu were among those who participated in the programme.
