Bonalu festival celebrated with pomp and grandeur in RR dist

The Bonala Utsav of Sri Kila Maisamma Temple in Arkepuram Division in Maheswaram Constituency was celebrated with pomp and grandeur.
Panchayati Raj Minister Seethakka and local leaders participated in the event, offering silk clothes to the Goddess and extending festive greetings to the people of Maheswaram.
Minister Seethakka expressed her joy in visiting the Goddess Keela Maisamma and conveyed her heartfelt wishes to people.
She emphasised the importance of the traditional festival, celebrated annually in the month of Ashadam, in fostering unity and preserving cultural heritage.
“By celebrating Bonalu with joy and enthusiasm, we aim to uphold our cultural values and strengthen societal bonds. We believe that the grace of the Gods will bring happiness and prosperity to everyone,” said Minister Seethakka.
The Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring smooth and efficient administration during the festival. Special arrangements and new facilities were provided to ensure that the public participate comfortably in the celebrations.
