They are the three men army for Tollwood, taking it to newer heights with every turn of its prolonged journey. Before the advent of Ghattamaneni brothers, NTR brothers were known for the knack of film-making and taking the industry forward on a disciplined path and enriching it. And come seventies started Ghattamaneni era. The brothers trio took the industry by storm and took it to hitherto unforeseen heights. The successful trio includes superstat Krishna and producers G Hanumantha Rao and our man of the day now, the only surviving of the brothers G Adiseshahagiri Rao, who narrates the trio’s success story to Suresh Kavirayani of The Pioneer.
Adiseshagiri Rao is the younger brother of Superstar Krishna and at a very young age entered into the film industry as a producer. After Krishna achieved stardom, he started the production house Padmalaya Movies, where his two younger brothers Adiseshagiri Rao and Hanumantha Rao, supported him. These two brothers were the main pillars for Krishna in his long journey as an actor, producer and director. They produced some of the sensational films like the first cowboy film in India, ‘Mosagallaki Mosagadu’, historical one ‘Alluri Seetharamaraju’, also produced blockbuster Hindi films. Here Seshagiri Rao recalls his association with his brother Krishna, first film producer, and shares many of his thoughts.
