Botsa denounces misinformation campaign on Land Titling Act

Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has slammed opposition leaders Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, accusing them of spreading misinformation and falsehoods about the AP Land Titling Act. He highlighted that the claims made by the opposition are baseless and lack any understanding of the legislation.
Speaking to the media people on Thursday, Botsa Satyanarayana refuted claims that only Xerox copies of documents are provided to claimants during the registration process, asserting that the original documents remain with the government. He criticized the opposition for indulging in what he termed as “evil propaganda” and compared them to criminals for misleading the public.
Minister Satyanarayana clarified that the AP Land Titling Act is still under consideration and highlighted the efforts of the Chief Minister in initiating the resurvey process after a century. He urged the opposition leaders to refrain from politicising the issue and recognize the positive impact it could have on land dispute resolution. The Minister called for criminal action against those spreading false information, particularly targeting media mogul Ramoji for his alleged misleading writings. He highlighted the need for responsible journalism and warned against the consequences of deceptive reporting.
Addressing concerns about transparency, Minister Satyanarayana outlined the registration process, highlighting the use of digital signatures and permanent records prepared by the registration department. He assured that there is no room for doubt in the implementation of the Land Titling Act. Minister Satyanarayana criticized opposition leader Chandrababu for his stance on the Land Titling Act, accusing him of playing politics without considering the welfare of the people. He hailed Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s efforts towards corruption-free governance and urged political leaders to prioritize the public interest over political affiliations.
While acknowledging the ongoing work at the central level regarding land-related laws, Minister Satyanarayana reiterated that the AP Land Titling Act would only be enforced after careful consideration and without causing any inconvenience to landowners. He emphasized the need for clarity and transparency in the implementation process. Minister Satyanarayana commended Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his innovative approach to governance, citing the comprehensive manifesto and commitment to fulfilling electoral promises as a testament to his leadership.
In response to criticism of the coalition manifesto, Minister Satyanarayana questioned the integrity of opposition leaders Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan, highlighting discrepancies in their alliance and manifesto acceptance. He called for accountability from the opposition regarding their manifesto’s viability and acceptance among coalition partners.
