A teenage boy was drowned in the Tammileru rivulet at Yellapuram village in Musunuru mandal on Saturday.
Police said that three teenagers ventured into the rivulet for bath and one of them was drowned and the other two youths swam ashore safely.
The deceased was identified as Narra Sri Babu (17) and he was studying Intermediate at Sri Chaitanya college. The body was fished out from the rivulet and shifted to the GGH for postmortem.
