Jana Sena State joint secretary Bandaru Ravikanth has alleged that the government has failed to provide basic infrastructure and amenities to the Jagananna colonies. Ravikanth, along with other leaders, visited a Jagananna colony which was inundated in rain water near Tenali on Saturday. They stood on the two-feet water at the colony and registered their protest against the government’s apathy in providing facilities and living conditions to the Jagananna colonies.

They raised slogans against the Chief Minister and the government at the colony for their failures by standing in the water.

Talking to the media, Ravikanth said in response to the call given by JSP chief K Pawan Kalyan to visit the Jagananna colonies to know about their conditions they visited the colony today. The government failed to provide drinking water, roads and drainage facilities to the colonies.

The dwellers could not live in the colonies, he regretted. He said that the beneficiaries in Guntur were given house sites 20 KMs away from the city. The JSP wants to highlight the government deceiving people in the name of providing houses, he stated.
