A teenage boy was killed and another was critically injured when firecrackers exploded in a house at Sitaramnagar locality here on Thursday.Police said that firecrackers were illegally stored in a house by a person. He was preparing to send the firecrackers to churches for Christmas celebrations. The firecrackers exploded suddenly killing Prema Sandesh alias Nanu (14) when the firecrackers were being sent to a Church. Another boy Krupakar (17) was critically injured in the incident. The police held a person, Raju, for illegally storing the firecrackers in his house. Meanwhile, the parents of the deceased and injured said that they were not aware that their children were working at the firecracker store.
