YSRCP North Andhra regional coordinator YV Subbareddy has rallied party workers and leaders in Visakhapatnam, urging them to mobilise like soldiers for the party’s triumph in the upcoming elections. Speaking during the inauguration of Visakhapatnam parliamentary constituency party office at beach road here on Friday, Subba Reddy emphasised the significance of bringing Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy back to power to sustain the welfare schemes aimed at uplifting the impoverished in the State. He lauded the Chief Minister’s administration for its extensive provisions in education, healthcare, welfare, and developmental initiatives across rural areas.
Taking a dig at the Opposition, Subbareddy criticised the previous administration led by Chandrababu Naidu, accusing it of failing to foster the State’s development and merely passing time with superficial efforts. Subbareddy highlighted Jagan Mohan Reddy’s achievements, including the establishment of ports and fishing harbours, which have significantly contributed to employment generation in the State. He underscored the importance of re-electing MP candidate Botsa Jhansi, praising her understanding of the region’s needs and her efforts in advocating for its stability.
Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana echoed the call for Jagan’s return to power, emphasising his dedication to societal welfare and the urgent need to clear the State’s debts. He portrayed the electoral contest as a battle between corrupt practices and honest governance, citing the contrast between the previous administration’s alleged corruption and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s developmental initiatives. MP candidate Botsa Jhansi pledged to prioritise public concerns and work tirelessly to address lingering issues within the constituency, notably questioning the proposed privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant.
