The BRS is making a new analysis regarding political profit and loss in the Lok Sabha elections.
The BRS wants to revive its winning streak in the Lok Sabha elections. After the Assembly elections, several BRS leaders left the party and joined the Congress and the BJP. Among these leaders there were sitting MPs, MLAs and MLCs.
The BRS leadership is making enquiries to find out whether cadres have also left the party along with the leaders. At the same time, the BRS leadership is also inquiring whether there is any loss to the party due to the leaders leaving.
The BRS leadership strongly believes that the Congress government headed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is facing strong opposition from the public. The farmers are very angry with the Congress government, the BRS thinks.
The BRS leadership thinks that the opposition among the public will help the BRS in the Lok Sabha elections. The decision of some senior leaders to leave will definitely cause some loss to the BRS.
The BRS leadership thinks that the political “profit” to the party due to the opposition among the people against the Congress government is more than the political “loss” suffered by the party due to some seniors leaving.
The BRS leadership thinks that if the cadres are intact after the exit of the senior leaders and if there is opposition to the Congress government it will prove advantageous to the party in the Lok Sabha elections.
The BRS leadership is also making inquiries over the attitude of its sitting MLAs in the context of rumours that most BRS MLAs are going to defect to the Congress.

BRS circles think that KCR’s extensive tour will help party cadres regain their confidence in the party’s future. The Congress and the BJP are saying that after the Lok Sabha elections, the BRS will disappear from Telangana’s political scene.
