With Assembly elections around the corner BRS President Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has started his ‘farmhouse politics.’ The CM is staying at his farmhouse since a week.
After the recent Assembly session, KCR went to his farmhouse at Erravalli in his own Assembly constituency Gajwel in the erstwhile Medak district. The CM is now busy finalising the first list of BRS Assembly candidates.
Usually, KCR takes important decisions, whether political or administrative, at his farmhouse. KCR has a special regard for his farmhouse. He likes to spend more time at his farmhouse than at his official residence, Pragathi Bhavan.
During election times he runs politics from his farmhouse. Since a week KCR is busy with finalising the first list of his party candidates. He is also solving disputes among his party leaders from his farmhouse. Sometimes, he summons party leaders to his farmhouse and gives them strong warnings. Sources say that in a few days, the first BRS candidate list will be finalised.
On August 19 and 20 KCR is touring Medak and Suryapet districts to inaugurate BRS offices. Sources said that KCR may announce the first list of his party candidates after his district tour.
According to sources in the first list there are around 70 candidates. There is a chance of the names of some ministers going missing in the first list.
About 25 sitting MLAs are in a very critical position as per the survey conducted by KCR.
After one more survey about these MLAs, KCR will decide whether to give party tickets to them or field new faces. Now onwards as per sources, KCR will spend more time at his farmhouse than at Pragathi Bhavan. He will formulate his election strategy from his farmhouse to ensure a hat-trick victory for the BRS. The Erravalli farmhouse has a special place in the political career of KCR.
