The BRS has launched a flexie war against the BJP ahead of BRS MLC K. Kavitha appearing before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Delhi liquor scam.The war turned murkier by end of Saturday when BJP workers tore down the Flexies. A Flexi setup at Cantonment showcased Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Ravana with Adani and investigative agencies as 10heads.The flexi termed PM as “Destroyer of Democracy, Grandfather of Hypocrisy”.
By Saturday evening, BJP leaders went to the location and tore the flexi and criticised the local BRS leaders not to put it up again.
BRS displayed interesting flexies overnight in several places comparing political leaders from other parties who were facing charges and had joined the BJP.
The flexies show political leaders from Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and other states and how their colours changed before joining the BJP and after joining the BJP. Before joining the BJP the leaders had stains on them and after joining the BJP the stains disappeared.
Central investigation agencies raided the leaders when they had stains but after joining the BJP there were no stains on them.
In all flexies there were pictures of Kavitha’s and there was no change in the colours of Kavitha before and after the raids. The flexies had the slogan, ‘True Colours Never Fade.’ They also had the tagline, ‘Bye Bye Modi.’
The BRS is trying to expose how the BJP is ‘misusing’ Central investigation agencies for political purposes and how the Central Government is using its investigation agencies to frighten opposition leaders.
After the raids by Central investigation agencies some opposition leaders joined the BJP. After the leaders joined the BJP Central investigating agencies started ignoring them.
Some opposition leaders changed colours after raids by Central investigation agencies. But BRS leaders never change their colours even if there are raids, the flexies claimed.
The BRS is trying to squeeze out the maximum political advantage from the Kavitha episode. The BRS is trying to say through the flexies that when leaders are in the opposition camp they are corrupt and once they join the BJP they become clean.
