True to the claims of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the BRS has generated a lot of interest across the country. People are curious about the ‘BRS’ as the public in almost all states looked up details of the party on the Internet.
Ever since KCR officially renamed the party on October 6, people across the country looked up for ‘Bharat Rashtra Samithi, BRS, KCR and Telangana CM.The largest number of searches about the BRS was from Punjab and Andhra Pradesh as per Google trends in the last 90 days.
Even NRIs were keen to know about BRS. The NRIs of Bahrain, Kenya, UAE, Australia, the US, the UK and Canada searched for the BRS in the last 90 days. In the last 12 months, BRS had sparked in Uganda, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Kenya, Qatar, Nepal, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, North America, Australia, Canada, France, UK, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Malaysia, Philippines and even in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The related keywords used on Google were ‘TRS to BRS’, and ‘BRS full form KCR.’
But when it comes to the term ‘Bharat Rashtra Samithi,’ interest over the past year was in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
In the last 90 days, people in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka were interested in knowing about the BRS.Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was searched in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
The MLAs’ poaching case is among the rising topics on Google when one looks up BRS.The poaching case was discussed across the nation. More people in Telangana looked up the name of BL Santosh than in Karnataka.
When it comes to KCR, people are interested in knowing about ‘KCR new party’ and ‘KCR kit.’The Munugode by-election was also among popular searches on the Internet.
Interestingly the Delhi liquor scam couldn’t generate much search interest across the country. People looked up the scam from just eight states including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.But searches for Kalvakuntla Kavitha figured across the country barring one or two states.
