The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government has accomplished 100 years of development within nine years. The credit for the achievement should go to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, said Minister for Finance T Harish Rao, while interacting with leaders of students’ unions here on Sunday.
Telangana has become a vibrant hub for education. Siddipet, too, has come to be known as an education hub. The BRS government has introduced revolutionary changes in the administration to make it more efficient. It led to the State marching ahead on all fronts, he pointed out.
Harish Rao exhorted the students to spread the message of development in villages. “The responsibility to ensure that the message of development is reached to every doorstep is on the students,” he said and asked the leaders of the students’ unions to hold Atmeeya Sammelan in villages to spread the message of the government.
In the past, when the State was under the rule in the united Andhra Pradesh, the people’s representatives were forced to approach the Chief Minister for sanction of a college. Now, Siddipet has become a hub for higher education, too. The government sanctioned several educational institutions to the district.
