With IT Minister KT Rama Rao absent during the announcement of the list of BRS candidates for the Assembly elections, the demand for BRS MLC Kavitha increased suddenly.
Before announcing Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced the candidates’ list on Monday several BRS leaders including Ministers and MLAs queued up at Kavitha’s residence. If KTR was in Hyderabad BRS leaders would have lined up at his residence.
KTR left for the US two days ago. In the absence of KTR BRS leaders met his sister Kavitha and requested her to use her good offices with KCR to give Assembly tickets to them.
Some of them met Kavitha for courtesy’s sake. Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Koppula Eswar, MLAs Madan Lal and Rekha Naik were among them.
Some BRS leaders who came to know that KCR is not giving Assembly tickets to them explained to Kavitha about their services and loyalty to the party. They requested her to convey their message to KCR and ask him to give a ticket to them.
Later, Kavitha went to Pragathi Bhavan to meet her father KCR and she reportedly told the CM about the feelings of some BRS leaders who had met her.
