The selection of 115 BRS candidates for the Telangana Assembly elections turned out to be a one-man show of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
The close aides of KT Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao were left out. Krishank Manne, Bonthu Ram Mohan and Erolla Srinivas who were keen hopefuls for the ticket didn’t get a chance.
Krishank was in the run for the Cantonment ticket which was given to Lasya Nandita, the daughter of MLA Sayanna who recently died.
“Disappointments are to be taken in one’s stride in public life. Unfortunately, some very deserving, capable leaders like Krishank and a few others could not be accommodated. Will ensure he and some others who have been denied an opportunity to contest get their chance in another form to serve people,” KTR said.
“KTR introduced me to this big BRS family which gave me immense love across the State. If not for you my political journey would have ended in 2018-19.
