A preparatory meeting for the upcoming Diksha Divas programme to be held on November 29, was held at the Nalgonda District Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party office. The meeting focused on planning the event. The party leaders who spoke at the meeting pledged to make the even a success.
Former minister and Suryapet MLA, G Jagadish Reddy, addressing the gathering, stressed the importance of celebrating Diksha Divas with grandeur. “No other Chief Minister in the country has achieved what former chief minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) had accomplished. KCR introduced numerous welfare schemes. He further added, “ The state is currently under villainous leadership. KCR’s return as Chief Minister is certain. Even Congress leaders are aware of this.”
Jagadish Reddy praised KCR’s role in the formation of Telangana, stating, “KCR, who risked his life to bring Telangana to fruition, is the true leader of the people.
Highlighting the need to educate the youth about the history of the Telangana movement, he emphasised, “We must make the younger generation aware of KCR’s struggles. On Diksha Divas, we should showcase photographs from his protests and commemorate the movement’s milestones.”
The leaders also discussed preparations for the event, which will include displaying photographs and artefacts related to the Telangana movement and KCR’s leadership.
The meeting was attended by several prominent leaders, including MLC Koti Reddy, Former MP Srinivas Reddy, Former Zilla Parishad chairman Band Narendra Reddy, former MLAs Gadari Kishore Kumar, Bhupal Reddy, Chirumarthi Lingayya, Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy, Nallamotu Bhaskar Rao, Ravindra Kumar, and Nomula Bhagat.
Former Corporation chairmen Ramachandra Nayak, Ravikumar Goud, and Balaraj Yadav, along with key figures like Cheeruku Sudhakar, Krishna Reddy, Praveen Reddy, Sattayya Goud, Sharanya Reddy, Regatte Mallikarjuna Reddy, Saidireddy, Jamal, Ramarao, Satyanarayana, Abhimanyu Srinivas, and several others were present.
