Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) general secretary Janampalli Anirudh Reddy on Thursday said that the Janahita Pada Yatra he undertook created ripples among adversaries. He alleged that the BRS government cheated the people during the past nine years making unrealistic promises. He vows to expose the false promises the BRS made to people.
Addressing the media at his pada yatra camp at Rangareddyguda under Rajapur mandal in the district on Thursday, he said on account of rains he stopped the pada yatra on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The objective of the pada yatra is the progress of the people of the constituency and to maintain good rapport with people.
He is identifying the problems of people in the constituency and trying his best to solve them even though the Congress is not in power.
The leaders of the ruling party failed to fulfil the promises they made to the people in the past. Therefore, his pada yatra would remind the people about the promises the ruling party made, he said expressing concern over some leaders have been making it a controversy.
He said that his pada yatra in Jadcherla constituency would continue for 20 more days.
