The BRS may change some of its MPs in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
BRS Working President KT Rama Rao hinted this on Sunday while participating in the Zaheerabad Lok Sabha constituency’s preparatory meeting held at the Telangana Bhavan.
KTR said that there is a strong feeling that the party would have done better in the Assembly elections if it had changed sitting MLAs and made it clear that the party will not repeat such mistakes in the Parliament elections.
He said that ‘Bandhu’ schemes had impacted the party as voters who did not get Bandhu money voted for other parties.
He said the Congress government had developed a bad image within a month. Congress MLAs are facing protests from the public already and the Congress government is trying to avoid implementing its promises by citing debts.
KTR said that there would be a triangular contest during Parliament elections and the BRS would have an advantage due to that.
Those who sympathise with KCR and sections who got distanced from the Congress would vote for the BRS in the LS polls, he said.He said that the Congress government has been indulging in regressive acts by abolishing the BRS government’s schemes.
