BRS MLA Jogu Ramanna on Saturday alleged that his Congress rival Kanti Srinivasa Reddy has been conspiring to eliminate him and issuing provocative statements against him.
He said that the Congress leader is levelling baseless allegations against him and his family members.
Speaking at a media conference held here, the MLA warned the Congress leaders that he would file a criminal case against him and take legal action against him.
He offered to quit politics if the Congress leader proved charges against him. He cautioned Srinivasa Reddy to exercise restraint.
The MLA accused Srinivas Reddy of making provocative statements against him, instigating his rivals to bury “the MLA” and even procured crowbar and spade.
Therefore, he sought a legal action against the Congress leader.
The Congress leader levelled allegation against him that he had bought thousands of acres of land in Maharashtra and accused him of amassing Rs 5,000 crore, the MLA pointed out.
He dared the Congress leader to prove the allegations. The MLA said that he would file a defamation case against the Congress leader.
