TPCC Senior Vice President G. Niranjan said that the BRS should conduct a meeting on water at Medigadda first and not at Nalgonda. He said that public attention is now focused on the collapse of the Medigadda Barrage and the loss suffered by the public.
Speaking to the media on Monday at the Gandhi Bhavan, Niranjan said that the BRS is organising the Nalgonda meeting to divert public attention.
He said that although on Sunday Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said that there was no intention to hand over the Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar projects to the Krishna River Management Board, the BRS is trying to mislead people.
A public meeting should be held at the Medigadda Barrage first and KCR should explain to the people how his dream project had failed.
