If applicants come again to Praja Vani, action will be taken against officials, GHMC chief

GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has warned the officers that if any applicant comes again to the Praja Vani, strict action will be taken against officers as they have not solved people’s problems. On Monday, City Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and Ronald Rose received the Praja Vani applications at the GHMC head office.
The Commissioner ordered the officers that they should inform the applicant in writing about the last date to resolve the problem. People were requested to not come to head office of Praja Vani as it is being held at the circle and zonal level as well. Only those whose problem is not resolved at circle, zonal level should come here.
The Mayor said that steps should be taken to upload each application online and send the message to the applicant and the HOD of the concerned department. The Mayor requested the Commissioner to issue instructions to submit a report on how many applications have been solved. She ordered officials to submit the report by Saturday.
Meanwhile, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has ordered the officials to complete the unfinished works in KBR Park as soon as possible. On Monday, he inspected the park along with other officials.
He instructed the officials to make a proper walkway, duly clearing the uneven portions and to plant more saplings wherever there are gaps. Drinking water was ordered to be arranged especially for visitors and walkers in the park. Owners should not bring pet dogs to the park.
Ronald Rose instructed that a suitable place for the toilets should be identified and constructed soon, and also lighting should also be installed. Take appropriate measures to
prevent sewage in the park, he said.
Along with the completion of the works undertaken earlier for the development of the park, beautification also should be done here, he added.
