The Maharashtra Police has reportedly denied permission to
Bharat Rashtra Samiti meeting in Maharashtra on 24th April at
Aamkhas Grounds, citing security reasons.
The Aurangabad Police advised BRS to choose another place.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly
expressed his displeasure with the behavior of the police.
The BRS has decided to conduct the meeting at another place.
The work related to the arrangements for the BRS public
meeting began on a large scale on Wednesday at Jabinda
Maidan.
Armor MLA Ashannagari Jeevan Reddy organized poojas and
started the work at Jabinda Maidan. On this occasion, the
leaders of BRS discussed the arrangements to be made in the
whole field. MLA Jeevan Reddy advised local party leaders to
ensure that they do not face any problems as the people of
Aurangabad district are gathering to participate enthusiastically
in the assembly. He opined that various routes should be
arranged for the assembly and suitable parking spaces arranged
for those coming from different constituencies.
He expressed his confidence that the BRS would set a record as the largest
public meeting in the history of Aurangabad district.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, some leaders from the
Aurangabad region joined the party in the presence of KCR at
Pragathi Bhavan. The leader gave them a pink scarf and invited
them into the party.
Among those who joined the party from NCP are Aurangabad
ZP chairman Feroze Khan, Aurangabad NCP party vice president
Ranwa Singh, Vidarbha Shetkari Sanghat president Jangdish
Pandey, Maharashtra Annadata Shetkari Sanghat president
Jayaji Rao Surya Vamsi, with NCP vice president Tryambat
Mudge's joining being a priority.
Along with them, many senior political leaders, farmers' union
leaders, leaders from social service organisations and other
fields joined the BRS in the presence of KCR.
