BRS Working President K. Taraka Rama Rao is working on uniting party ranks to avoid embarrassing situations during Atmeeya Sammelanams.
The first round of Atmeeya Sammelanams turned into a show of strength for party candidates in their constituencies exposing internal bickering. With KCR giving a call to complete these gatherings in two months, KTR said the BRS is setting up a special team to coordinate the party’s activities.
He appointed a special team of leaders to effectively coordinate the party’s programmes and activities which will be held in the next two to three months.
About 19 MLCs have been appointed as coordinators apart from others. The party has decided to organise extensive Atmeeya Sammelanams, Dr BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary celebrations, and party Foundation Day programmes.
On Sunday, KTR held a teleconference with BRS District Presidents and General Secretaries and wide-ranging programmes were formulated to ensure that people’s representatives stayed among people to the extent possible and to strengthen the bond between ground-level activists, state-level leaders and public representatives.
The student wing of the party was directed to undertake a membership registration drive in the 2023-24 academic year.
The special team appointed by KTR will coordinate with the party’s district presidents and local MLAs to conduct the programmes.
KTR directed the newly appointed in-charges to hold meetings with the MLAs of the district allotted to them and discuss the implementation of the programmes.
KTR suggested that leaders appointed by the party should immediately meet district ministers and local MLAs and discuss the planning and implementation of the party’s programmes. KTR appealed to party ranks to coordinate with this team in a statement released on Monday.
Apart from MLCs, BRS Secretary Koleti Damodar will coordinate Jagityala events, Errolla Srinivas Peddapalli events, Mettu Srinivas Suryapet events and Dr Dasoju Shravan Hyderabad events.
Thakkallapalli Ravinder Rao is the coordinator for Vanaparthi, while Jogulamba is for Gadwala, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy for Medchal, Baswaraju Saraiah for Rajanna Sirisilla, Kadiam Srihari for Nalgonda, and Pochampally Srinivas Reddy for Vikarabad.
Ranga Reddy is for L. Ramana, Bhadradri Kothagudem is for Bhanuprasad, Sangareddy is for Venkat Ram Reddy, Medak is for Egge Mallesham, Narayanapet is for Kasireddy Narayana Reddy and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri is for Dr Yadava Reddy.
The other coordinators are Patnam Mahender Reddy for Nagar Kurnool, Bhupalapalli Mulugu for Arikela Narsa Reddy, Siddipet for Bodakuntla Venkateshwarlu, Hanumakonda and Warangal for MS Prabhakar, Nirmal and Adilabad for V. Gangadhar Goud, Mancherial and Asifabad by Naradasu Laxman, Janagama by Kotireddy, Mahbubabad by Puranam Satish, Kamareddy by Dande Vitthal, Nizamabad by Banda Prakash, and Khammam by Sheri Subhash Reddy.
