In a message to BRS activists Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao asked them to be alert.
“This is an election year. We should be vigilant against the malicious propaganda of useless parties,” he said. KCR asked his cadre to reach out to the people ahead of elections and dispel the “misinformation campaign” of opposition parties.

He said, “For others, politics is a game but for the BRS it’s a task.” He said the BJP is resorting to attacks and is creating obstacles in the way of progress.

“The BJP is attacking our party, which is moving forward with the slogan of ‘Abki Bar Kisan Sarkar,’ and is standing up for the country. It is creating obstacles at every step to block the progress of Telangana. Ours is a party that has defeated thousands of attacks and millions of conspiracies,” KCR said.

Alleging that the BJP and the Congress lacked vision, he said a new journey has started in the form of BRS to set right national politics.

“It is not enough if our state is progressing. The country also should develop. The Congress and the BJP ruled the country for many years but they have no brains, no vision and no willpower. That’s why we set a new agenda for the country to set right politics and launched our party, the BRS,” he said.

In an open letter addressed to BRS “family members,” KCR said the state of Telangana would not have become a reality had the BRS been fearful about attacks in the past.

He also said Telangana, which once only had “problems, tears and droughts,” has now emerged as a role model for the country by implementing welfare schemes that cater to all sections of society.

Meanwhile, KCR said India is facing problems connected to drinking water, availability of food for the poor, irrigation facility for agriculture and electricity supply.
