Andhra Pradesh State Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath met South Central Railway General Manager Arun Kumar Jain in Secunderabad on Monday.
Buggana Rajendranath Reddy submitted a petition to the Railway General Manager regarding several key railway projects to be sanctioned for Dhone constituency.
The Finance minister had a meeting in the General Manager’s office in Secunderabad Rail Nilayam. The Minister submitted a petition to South Central Railway General Manager Arun Kumar Jain for several key projects to resolve the congestion of passengers in Dhone constituency. The General Manager responded positively to the minister’s proposals.
The Finance Minister sought the construction of ‘Railway under Bridge’ in view of passenger traffic in Dhone Municipality, establishment of a second ‘Ticket Counter’ for the convenience of passengers on the Dhone-Gooty Road near the third platform of the Dhone Railway Station.
He also explained the GM that in view of large scale supply of mineral products from Jindal Vijayanagar Steels and urged for the construction of second railway line for Panyam cement and mineral industries at Cement Nagar in Bethamcherla, ‘foot over bridges’ at RS Rangapuram and Chinna Malkapuram railway stations in Bethamcherla without any inconvenience to passengers.
He also appealed for the construction of a second vent at Railway Under Bridge 158A at Bethamcherla and proposed to take initiative for speedy completion of RS Rangapuram yard by providing adequate resources.
