Telangana government’s Bhu Bharathi and BuildNow applications will support steady, transparent and inclusive growth in the state’s real estate sector, especially in rural and semi-urban areas, said NAREDCO Telangana president Vijaya Sai Meka.
He shared that the BuildNow app will make building and layout approvals faster and easier, helping developers complete projects on time. He added that this move will benefit developers, investors and homebuyers alike. NAREDCO Telangana will work with the government to help the real estate sector make the most of this reform.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Vijaya Sai called BuildNow a major step in speeding up approvals by the MA&UD Department. He also said that Bhu Bharathi will solve problems developers face, such as missing survey numbers or wrongly marked lands.
He said both tools support the state’s goal of better infrastructure, ease of business and planned growth. NAREDCO Telangana believes the government’s five development initiatives (5Ds) Rs 10,000 crore for Hyderabad’s infrastructure, Metro expansion, Musi Riverfront development, a new Fourth City and a 350-km Regional Ring Road will boost real estate, GDP and tourism.
Bhu Bharathi is being tested in three districts to make improvements before a full launch. Vijaya Sai sought a helpline for users and stressed the need for open communication with stakeholders to make the system easy to use and successful. He noted that Bhu Bharathi improves transparency, speeds up approvals and lowers legal risks. It promotes rural growth and better planning, with NAREDCO ready to help with upgrades and partnerships.
