Call to create awareness about welfare schemes

Telangana State Revenue, Information, Civil Relations and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy held a programme at the State Secretariat on Tuesday, directing officials to increase public awareness about the state’s development and welfare programmes. During the event, the Minister presented advanced photo cameras to field-level employees of the Information department.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Dr Harish explained that the new cameras would help district and field staff to easily share photo news with the media about various programmes. He added that the cameras are being distributed to all district offices and division-level staff.
Dr Harish emphasised that the new cameras would benefit the staff and improve the coverage of government initiatives. He also highlighted the active role of the Information department staff in promoting government schemes at events attended by State ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives.
