Advisor to the Government (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has said that the change of candidates is being done only to ensure victory in the elections and appealed to all party leaders to cooperate.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy inaugurated the new office in the Vijayawada central constituency. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the YSRCP has aimed at winning all 175 constituencies. To win all seats, the party is making changes to candidates in some constituencies after discussing with the leaders.
Responding to YS Sharmila’s accusations, he said that Sharmila does not have political understanding on the issues. There is no meaning to what she is saying, he criticized.
“There is no need for the YSRCP to answer whatever she says. Sharmila suddenly entered AP politics. She does not have a proper grasp on the AP politics. People know Sharmila only as the daughter of Rajasekhar Reddy and sister of Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Saggala asserted.
He demanded Sharmila to make it clear what injustice Jagan Reddy meted to her and questioned how far it is right to give power of positions to the members of a family.
Reposing confidence of coming to power second time in succession, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy reiterated that all the assurance had been implemented and all the eligible beneficiaries irrespective of caste and religion are getting the welfare scheme benefits. As many as 1.47 crore families are getting the benefits of welfare schemes, he stated.
“Jagan Mohan Reddy will blow poll bugle on January 27 in Bheemili constituency. He will highlight the welfare schemes being implemented by the government,” he announced. He also announced that the DSC notification would be issued soon to fill up vacant posts.
“In the YSRCP, MLA does not mean power but it is a responsibility. The MPs and MLAs are also party activists. Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only leader of the party,” he observed.
Assuring the political future of MLA Malladi Vishnu, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that Malladi Vishu would assume higher position in the future. Sajjala questioned Chandrababu Naidu why he failed to develop the Karakatta road as a double lane road.
Malladi Vishunu, Vellampalli Srinbivas and MP Kesheneni Nani were among those who were present.
