Capuchin monkey adopted at Nehru Zoo Park

A capuchin monkey at the Nehru Zoological Park was on Saturday adopted by Siddharath Shah, a donor for the zoo.
Shah adopted the monkey to mark the 75th birthday of his father, Kantilal Shah. The family has been donating to the zoo for a long time. Earlier, Siddharath adopted a tiger, leopard and cheetah on his birthday. Telangana Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy felicitated Kantilala Shah on the latter’s birthday. The Minister released a pair of capuchin monkeys into the zoo.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sunil S Hiremath, Curator of the zoo park said, “Wildlife conservation and education is the main objective of the Zoo, support from the senior citizens like  Kantilal Shah is a great gesture towards the animal adoption scheme.”
