Car racing lacks spectators

Must read

Hyderabad: Confusion prevailed over Indian Racing League (IRL) in Hyderabad on Saturday as the first day ended without qualifying competitions and just two practice sessions. The organisers were thinking of holding competitions on Saturday. The race itself started late on Saturday and took to the track due to ‘technical reasons.’ There were hardly any viewers compared to the previous day’s racing. The drivers were supposed to start the first practice session (FP1) from 11:00 am to 11:40 am while the second practice session (FP2) was scheduled from 1:10 pm to 1:50 pm. The qualification was set to begin at 3:10 pm and end at 04:45 pm. The cars were first seen at 4:10 pm. The authorities are thinking of holding competitions on Sunday itself.
