Hyderabad: The Centre has decided to organise Telangana Liberation Day celebrations on September 17 in Warangal city this year. The Centre organized Telangana Liberation Day celebrations last year in Hyderabad at the Parade Grounds. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the celebrations which will be organised in Warangal City as chief guest like last year. The BJP is chalking out an action plan in this regard.
Plans are being made to organize a parade of Central forces in Warangal. Amit will receive the salute at this parade. Amit Shah’s visit will be interesting in view of the BJP high command’s increased focus on the Telangana Assembly elections.
Besides participating in Telangana Liberation Day celebrations, Amit will also have a meeting with BJP leaders and discuss various issues.Apart from these programmes, the BJP is chalking out several other programmes to come to power in TS this time. As part of that, the party has decided to launch yatras from three places on September 17.
Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy, BJP General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Telangana BJP Election Management Committee Chairman Eatala Rajender will lead these yatras.
