Certificates of appreciation presented to doctors

District Collector AS Dinesh Kumar here on Tuesday presented certificates of appreciation to the doctors who provided the best service.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the state government has introduced the Family Physician concept to provide better medical facilities in rural areas. The ‘Family Physician’ concept is being implemented in the district in all PHC limits.

Under the ‘Family Physician’ programme, 14 medical tests are conducted on the patients and 64 varieties of medicines are given. Under the family physician programme the doctor directly goes to the house of the patient and provides the treatment.

The doctors, including Jarugumili primary medical officer Saraswati, Mudlamuru primary health centre office Jyothi, Peduluru PHC Anusha Ajit, Karavai PHC Vani and Machavaram PHC Swapna, who extended the best services under the programme were presented certificates appreciation for their services. DMHO Dr S Rajyalakshmi and other officials were present.
