Minister Kishan Reddy gives appointment letters to 299

Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy has said that the Central government’s aim was to make the youth part of the country’s development through the Rozgar Mela. As part of the Mela, the Union Minister handed over appointment letters for various posts to 299 people from across Andhra Pradesh. Kishan Reddy took part in the Rozgar Mela held at NTPC auditorium in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.

As part of the Prime Minister’s commitment to accord the highest priority to employment generation, Rozgar Melas were organised at 45 locations across the country on Tuesday. On the occasion, the Prime Minister distributed offers of appointment (OOA) to 71,000 newly inducted recruits through video-conferencing. Kishan Reddy participated in the event organised in Visakhapatnam and handed over offer letters to 299 people who got jobs in various departments of the Central gvernment.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister described the Rozgar Mela as a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give high priority to employment generation. All the candidates who received the appointment letters were expected to be a part of the development of the country by serving the poor. Everyone wanted to work hard to make India a powerful country in the world. The minister said that every month this year, Rozgar Mela would be held to involve the youth in national development and national service.

MP B Satyavathi, MLC Madhav, Central government officers and staff of NTPC participated in the programme.
