Vijaya Dairy Chairman Chalasani Anjaneyulu has categorically refuted allegations made by Gannavaram MLA Yarlagadda Venkata Rao regarding false information dissemination. Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Anjaneyulu stressed that he is not responsible for the claims made against the MLA.
He clarified that the Krishna District Milk Producers Mutually Aided Cooperative Society Limited, known as Vijaya Dairy, is an elected body and operates independently from political influences. “Politics has no place in our functioning,” he asserted, noting that leaders from various parties are involved in the management of the dairy.
Anjaneyulu pointed out that none of the 16 MLAs from the combined Krishna district, except for Venkata Rao, have raised objections about the dairy’s operations. He dismissed claims that milk parlours were exclusively allocated to YSRCP leaders, emphasising that tenders are open to all.
With a political career aligned with the TDP since 1982, Anjaneyulu credited his achievements to TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu. He also condemned the previous YSRCP government’s introduction of Amul Milk, which he claimed neglected local dairy interests. Despite challenges, he affirmed that Vijaya Dairy remains committed to serving the needs of dairy farmers.
