Noted Evangelist and politician KA Paul blamed TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for the deaths due to stampedes in Kandukur and Guntur. He objected to Naidu’s road shows and meetings despite two back-to-back tragic stampedes in four days. He stated that Naidu’s brain was not working.

Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, Paul said it was very sad that innocent people lost their lives in Kandukur and Guntur. He opined that Chandrababu was defeated in the elections for doing immoral politics. He welcomed the introduction of rules for meetings and gatherings and said that the Guntur incident shocked him. He said that he would support the families of the deceased.

He ‘cursed’ Chandrababu and his supporters that their lives would be ruined due to immoral and inhuman acts. He said that NTR believed Naidu, but the latter backstabbed NTR. “I also believed Chandrababu, but he deceived me,” Paul added. He claimed that he made many leaders CMs, including Chandrababu. He asked leaders and cadres including Naidu’s adopted son Pawan Kalyan to come out and join him.

He said that no one including CM Jagan developed Andhra Pradesh and promised to bring Rs 1 lakh crore to develop AP and asked the public to give him a chance. He claimed that Telangana CM KCR had no right to step in AP due to his enmity with Andhra people. He further claimed that Thota Chandrasekhar and Ravela Kishore Babu have sold out to KCR and Chandrasekhar’s son told this to him. He expressed suspicions that NRIs were involving in political service-oriented programmes to convert their black money into white money and commented that even if Naidu spent a hundred crore rupees, TDP could not win the elections in AP.
